Build a clinically graded cognitive training app in a three-hour, hands-on workshop for occupational therapists.
Start with your clinical reasoning. Learn to turn activity analysis, client needs and grading decisions into an interactive resource—no coding experience required.
Complete the form, transfer the fee and upload your payment receipt. Places are confirmed after payment proof is verified.
Payment details appear on the first page of the form.
Screenshot or PDF of your FPS / bank receipt. Up to 3 files, 10 MB each.
About 3 minutes. Your answers shape the live demos.
You decide the activity demands and therapeutic grading while AI helps with the coding. The workshop guides you towards publishing a shareable app link for testing and further refinement.
Learn how to describe a clinical goal and use AI to help modify an activity—without writing code.
Turn client factors and occupational demands into prompts, written like a referral letter. Set grading, cognitive load and success criteria.
Stand up, stretch, hydrate.
Turn your clinical description into a working app prototype in the browser. Adapt its difficulty, visual layout and interactions to your chosen client profile.
An AI agent assembles and refines the activity. Raise contrast, simplify layouts, reduce cognitive strain.
Publish the tool and get a live mobile URL for the clinic or the client's home.
Caregiver education sheets, home modification checklists, and Q&A.
When to brainstorm with Gemini or Grok, and when an agent like Cursor should build the resource for you.
Client background, occupational need, task constraints and therapeutic goal, structured the way OTs already think.
Build a customisable training game that targets specific performance skills, without writing a line of code.
Publish with Vercel so patients, caregivers and therapists can open it on any phone.
Never input patient names, HKID, record numbers, addresses, photos or audio. AI tools are adjuncts, not diagnostic systems, formal assessments or certified medical devices.
Over 15 years in elderly rehabilitation, dementia care and community OT. As Senior OT at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals he coordinated dementia-related OT across more than 80 elderly service units and started the Picture Book Therapy Programme.
He is an OT, not a software engineer. This class is a colleague showing colleagues how to cut the admin and material-prep load with AI.
Laptop + charger with Chrome or Safari. Create free Gmail, Grok and GitHub accounts and install Cursor beforehand.
Certificate of Attendance at 100% attendance. One participant receives the AI Pioneer in Occupational Therapy award for outstanding reasoning and app design.
Teaching is in Cantonese, with English clinical terms and prompt examples. CPD points are pending approval.
All the details in one place, including the revised 31 October early-bird deadline and the Grok teaching sequence.

As occupational therapists, our intervention planning often requires highly individualised resources to address specific client factors and performance skills. What if you could create tailored, occupation-based digital interventions by articulating your clinical reasoning? Welcome to “Vibe Coding” for Occupational Therapists.
This intensive, three-hour face-to-face workshop bridges the gap between the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Designed specifically for OTs with no programming background, the course supports the translation of activity analysis, therapeutic goals and clinical observations into actionable AI prompts.
The Workshop Deliverable: Participants work towards a functional, custom-built cognitive/perceptual training application. This mobile-ready tool can be developed for graded cognitive interventions targeting areas such as executive functioning, sustained attention, working memory or visual perception. The workshop guides participants towards publishing a shareable app link for testing and further refinement; completion depends on successful setup and workshop progress.
You provide the clinical reasoning—identifying activity demands, therapeutic aims and grading—while AI assists with coding. The programme uses Google Gemini, Grok, Cursor, GitHub and Vercel to construct, adapt and deploy digital therapeutic resources. Free plans and access limits vary by account and service conditions. The goal is more individualised, client-centred intervention planning, with reduced material-preparation burden and strict attention to patient confidentiality.
Use AI for activity modification and intervention design. Define a clinical objective and a blueprint for a cognitive/perceptual tool.
Translate client factors and occupational demands into AI prompts; set grading parameters, cognitive load and success criteria.
Stand up, stretch and hydrate.
Move from the written clinical description to a working application prototype. Iteratively adjust the interface, interactions and difficulty.
Assemble and refine the activity, improving contrast, reducing cognitive load and simplifying the interface for geriatric usability. Model availability depends on the account.
Publish the application and work towards generating a shareable mobile URL for further testing and refinement.
Discuss future OT resources, use of free tiers, responsible follow-up and Q&A.
Vic Wong (黃楚維) — Registered Occupational Therapist (HK), Registered Social Worker (HK); Clinical Director & General Manager, Motive Force Technology Limited; Doctor of Clinical Science Candidate (Gerontechnology), Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
Vic Wong is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience specialising in elderly rehabilitation, dementia care and community occupational therapy. As an OT rather than a software engineer, he understands the everyday challenges therapists face: repetitive administration, caregiver education materials and the need for tailored clinical tools without coding skills.
During his tenure as a Senior Occupational Therapist at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Vic coordinated dementia-related occupational therapy services across more than 80 elderly service units. He pioneered gerontechnology integration and initiated the Picture Book Therapy Programme. Currently, he leads the clinical application of virtual reality and rehabilitation technologies in community care at Motive Force Technology Limited and is pursuing doctoral research into gerontechnology in elderly services.
Target audience: Occupational therapists with no programming background required.
Training fees: HK$700 early bird for registrations on or before 31 October 2026 (Hong Kong time); HK$800 thereafter.
To register, complete the form, make payment and upload proof. Places are confirmed after payment proof is verified.
Certificate of Attendance for participants with 100% attendance. One participant will receive the “AI Pioneer in Occupational Therapy” certificate for outstanding clinical reasoning and application design, as adjudicated by the speaker.
